The former, sorta. Puzzledrunkenness shouldnāt be easily solvable, or else good would just win easily so many times; but itās more that killing you, when your claim wasnāt open and you were puzzledrunk, wouldāve been an incredible coincidence. This is only compounded if Hazard was intentionally killed.

The Evil team killed the main two suspects. I severally doubt they thought much about the kill, other than continually trying to get me knocked.

In this world the Demon can only be crazynuto. The Evil Team would be Jarek, Chomps, Kiiruma, and crazynuto.
The Demon is probably a Po. I think itās the only reasonable explaination for the kills.
