You repeatedly emphasised worry over messing up the claim, to the event of stalling ending the whisper in case you said the wrong thing and was outed immediately. You say that now as if you wouldâve been quite calm, but in the moment you were flighty and panicking, irrespective of your alignment.

I wouldâve had to not waited for bluffs and went with a hell mary 90% failure play for no reason.
Killed the other two main suspects, for no reason
Left the innkeeper alive, for, again, no reason
And youâre trying to kill me over a person who claimed to not attempt to use any ability off of guava, and ignored a confirmed town player.
For all intents and purposes, itâs unclear whether Chomps wouldâve whispered you concurrently alongside the same whisper. It canât be differentiated one way or another, at least itâs apparent you never verbalised a response following the timespan between each message, but either way you didnât seem to know going in. Nor would Chomps have known to tell you immediately either, so you wouldâve been quite in the dark.

So effectively, you either wait for bluffs from an unknown source, then either speak to Nuto or commit to a 90% failure play of claiming a new role before doing so, or you say nothing happened and take no risks.

I can wait five minutes. If crazynuto was Good and had listened to anybody, I was screwed. I had no reason to make that big of a risk, especially with the fact that if Chomps is just the Summoner, they couldâve known the bluffs too!
