A big part of it wasn’t even taking the joke literally, it was that I read your sudden claim as an attempt to cover for Silviu, because nobody had told me the exact extent of Silviu’s Damsel softing. I thought you’d told me a secret (not something that was basically open knowledge) and panicked and tried to cover it up
