sounds interesting but for battle royale practice it only really helps you in early game

it’s been around 2 years i think but there’s a couple of particular factors that made it take longer; particularly that i took a while to answer things for a number of reasons (& also didn’t do a lot of assigned homework)

actually probably like 3 years including previous therapists

It must be because of low queue size. First half each match had 30 players and back half they lowered it to 12. When we queue trios our placement is usually stupidly high on the skill distribution. Jenna got mid plat 1 before she stopped playing ranked, and I think she could have made diamond if she just stuck to it. We used to grind duos and she was able to carry when I was an anchor so I think that probably lead to my MMR being weighted higher than it should be? Anyway, small queue size + MMR estimated in the final 25% means I’m gonna get all the sweats when they queue I guess. It seems fairly volatile too like my first two games I podium’d pretty easily and then I just started getting lobbies that dumpstered me more often than not.

Duels is fun though. It’s made me way better in scrappy fights which helps in many phases of the game. Like I’m just way better with all the guns now

i think kids with bikes system is kinda cool but has a few problems in it’s current state

mainly i don’t enjoy “charisma” being grouped up into one thing since charisma is so many different aspects and i really don’t think “intimidation” and “charm” should be considered the same thing in a grouping

and the dices are honestly too close to each-other.

this is also a dnd thing but i have almost zero experience looking over dnd stuff

they cant stop me

Current options:

  • Dane […] (Guard Captain; DM)
  • Stiorra (Vagabond; DM)
  • Evie Webb (Coven Member)
  • Oliver Reed (Mercenary)
  • Declan Steele (Guild Member)
  • Joshua Fulton (Mercenary? Guild Member?)
  • James Hikes (Mercenary?)
  • Rue Kato (-New?- Coven Member)
  • Dahlia Flores (Coven Member)
  • Cassandra […] (Coven Member)

…yeah, no. I’m gonna do a quick check up on Declan and then focus on E4. It should be open in a couple hours.

I like the idea of polymarkets that are, like, really easily cheatable by people who could obviously financially benefit from cheating it.

Some cameraperson could easily bag like 30k off the “Will dave portnoy give another 9+ review in 2025” market. Some cameraperson could easily bag like 10k off of "Who will win Love Island UK Season 12 (women)

like i’m sure it’s technically illegal but who’s gonna figure that out lol. The white lotus one had insane volume, some cameraperson there could have probaby gotten over 100 or 200k

There was also the “will the LA fires be stopped by X date” market which immediately created the financial incentive for arson and sabotaging firefighting efforts

This… has become too extensive. I should probably cull out some POVs and replace them with ones I wish to see. (…wait. That’s what I did before. Why did I add more POVs if I’m unlikely to watch them anyway?)

New plan: Remove the last five options from the list and go back to only… Actually, I think I’ll just stick with Declan and Oliver for the most part. I feel like the best part of this experience is limiting yourself into “unknowing” what other POVs see. For instance, you’d have way less stress watching this story from POV1 compared to… literally everyone else.

Though I gotta admit that watching more POVs also bears delicious fruit by discovering more stories… What a dilemma. I guess I’ll stick with as many POVs as possible.

Nah there is a good chance they figure it out because insiders betting on an outcome they know or manipulate to win is not a new tactic and they probably have a list of crew and whoever else knows to prevent this thing.

I mean, polymarket doesn’t have KYC laws and with large enough volumes, any bets could just be noise. I feel like it wouldn’t be hard to sneak out a real nice christmas bonus without getting caught

I don’t think it’s even illegal nor do I think polymarket monitors for insider trading

If this was draftkings or whatever then sure but polymarket specifically operates in such a huge limbo space, and they don’t gaf if markets are accurately priced or manipulated. Maybe eventually, if they launch officially in the US.

It’s possible production teams are monitoring these markets to see if anyone is insider trading but I feel like it’d be hard to catch and even then you’re unlikely to figure out who
