okay, so, individually i would agree none of the posts you quoted here are particularly towny, and i could see how maybe the post you quoted looks like the archetypical scum trying to look productive by posting stuff that doesn’t actually say anything.

however, i feel like that is not the strongest point. the other posts you have quoted are, at worst, awkward. awkwardness is not an inherently scum-indicative trait. and overall in cape’s iso he feels like he’s making a lot of analytical posts showing an effort to scumhunt, and you can see the reasoning behind the stuff he’s saying and how he’s getting to his conclusions.

I’m talking about stuff like #931, #1045, #1369, #1441

to me, these posts all read like a townie blurting his thoughts out into the thread without a care as to how he is perceived. he is simply trying to figure things out, reading in his own way, looking at stuff that interests him, and dumping his conclusions into the thread. he’s probably one of my most confident townreads.

If the first paragraph had been the ending it would have just been a joke

But the last part was added just to clarify that the purpose of the joke was to make them seem confused and innocent
