business oppurtunities is probably the best song in the album i think. alot of the album follows a like. style im quite familiar with of like. british millenial extentialism? it’s one of those things where if its new to you or if you have the particular brain structure or whatever it feels fantastic. but business oppurtunities kind of strays from that, it stays much closer to the ground throughout and that is really important for the depth of the entire album
i will say i read about this album and people are like. “this has changed my life. its the most profound thing i’ve ever heard.” and i just feel like. you can just talk to random strangers in like manchester or whatever and youll meet a guy who will give you this exact rant within like 10 minutes. i feel like alot of what makes it what it is is in how its structured and how the music is structured around it

There used to be one, like, five minutes from my dorm, and then they had a water leak that forced them to close temporarily, and then that temporary closure became a permanent closure.
So the nearest one instead became the one in Chinatown. You go to Tottenheim, keep going straight, and then take the right right past the Cursed Child building until you hit it.

i mean i’m moreso curious about what makes something your favorite thing, especially a place i don’t tend to like places besides for their aesthetic beauty and even that i have difficulties struggling for particularities.

i will say this one is done rather well. mostly in that i usually hear this kind of thing done in writing or just straight spoken word or whatever. so it maintains alot more replay value
its moreso that, if you go find something else like this, youll consume it and be like. oh wow. its just that but again

There’s a lot about that experience that I’m still rather ambivalent on.
On one hand, freedom like nothing else.
On the other hand, loneliness like nothing else.
Hard to square the two with each other, especially when they feed into each other.
