Why did I expect this sort of reaction
Anyways just got to Fraud (at -2 I think) and
- I think the windows antivirus is flaring up or something which is making the game a bit easier by slowing it down (since about Violence) which…neat?
- Violence was probably my least favorite layer thus far in terms of the normal levels, but the boss level was my favorite thus far.
- I have somehow managed to get lost less often in Fraud then I did in Violence. (Thus far, at least)
fraud is just super laggy
I also got softlocked at one point by jamming myself in between an elevator and the elevator shaft wall.
More specific thoughts:
- Most of the enemies introduced in Violence are just not that fun to fight.
- The green turret things are way too tanky, I can probably hit them with the grapple-buster-shotgun combo like three times and they’d still survive, which doesn’t really fit with how they’re supposed to be a fucking sniper
- Gabriel 2 was less infuriating than Gabriel 1
- The angel ball things are always in the most inconvenient spots possible and I hate them for that
- The rocket launcher is a fraud that makes the Liberty Launcher look like a nuclear warhead by comparison
- It would be neat if you could grapple onto the nailgun’s magnet
- In my opinion, the dash should be omnidirectional in water
how would you get this to work with mouse and keyboard
you’re not really supposed to use it as a basic firearm
the basic rocket launcher is more of a setup weapon or something you use on cereburus
