We have likes which are adjacent, you can slip your presence by accidently liking a post, and some ppl from MU would see likes not being disabled as an OGI nightmare. I like ‘likes’ and ‘is typing’ coz the vibes are more human and less robotic and idk its more warm. To me. A post appearing out of thin air is emotionally jarring

We have a likes-disabled tag so you can disable likes if you want. You couldn’t disable the presence thing because of the bug

If I were used to MU I’d probably hate likes too but they’re at least mostly intentional indicators. You can just, not like posts, and dropping your phone is the literal only instance where that can have an issue
