death stranding 2 minor/major spoilers

i feel like i’m approaching ds2 from the lens of “i need to gain something from this story” versus viewing it as an experience, which it prolly was written to be

the u.s goverment being evil is unsurprising, die-hard man’s return cutscene is absolutely fantastic, neil is probably the best new character, wish deadman/heartman/tarman/dollman/rainy had more stuff to them (but i suppose ds1 was kinda deadman/heartman’s game), higgs’ performance is once again great. overall a really, really solid game.

i wish the main portering was harder. most vehicles (which i partly abstained from using halfway through the game) can bypass… 75% of the game’s difficulty to a trivial level. combat feels stuffy, a bola stun gun trivalises most of it.

remember to use today’s wordle as today’s fortune

Got par (4/6).
Tracks with an about-average day.

i meant the word but that’s okay too. you do you. i can’t stop you. i’m not burning alive anymore.

they said it was because “being on fire is bad for the enviroment and thus will poorly effect even you in the long run” but i think they just wanted me not on fire for tax reasons

Wouldn’t they want you on fire for tax reasons?
Means they can claim depreciation on you and have that as a tax shield.

i just took an osha class so i felt like i needed to step in

some advice: Dont take an OSHA course. on my bus ride back from work i get to see an awesome amount of basic OSHA violations (bc this is not a really extensive course, just the most dangerous stuff and most basic stuff) and even then im like “oh… oh god…”

Actually, that’s a worker compensation expense, which comes straight out of operating income; thus, while their net income is lower, they actually pay less in tax because it’s the same percent coming out of a smaller amount.
