my baseline opinion of the games is that 1 is pretty good but the localization is sketch and you should still experience it via something awful lets play, 2 is iffy but komaeda is the most electric character of the 2010s in VNs (the most electric character of the 2000s is beatoriichi), and v3 is a masterpiece. the dr3 anime is maybe one of the worst anime ever

other danganronpinions expressed throughout that i have thoughts on:

  • it is tough to make a good fangan because most people inclined to do so are kind-hearted queer people who don’t have the soul of a pervert. you can make good killing game type games though. yttd is good.
  • junko is good in like two minute intervals. the books do not save her all spinoff media of danganronpa is a dumpster fire
  • the despair disease and all of 2-3 is a war crime
  • three point shot is pretty good
  • kork is my girlfriend’s favorite.
  • the worst danganronpa character is akane owari because she is boring. the monokubs dont count obviously they’re all horrible

i’m “playing” a holdout game by blockading the only door to me with my body and waiting for all the opposing enemy factions who were supposed to kill me to all kill eachother

each wave is on a timer versus on an “enemy killed” thing so i don’t have to move
i played ~four waves until i started hiding in this room
