Haven’t found a home for it yet

Might rework it into a chaotic neutral npc that I’ve been working on

Rooms are hard

Characters are easy

rooms are boring to make and thus annoying and thus you don’t wanna do them

but when you actually get down to it it’s just

  • picking a theme
  • working it into the overarching theme
  • writing about it for a paragraph

See thing is the act of playing an rpg necessitates designing a character

So i have a ton of practice with that, but not very much with room design

i’ve designed hundreds of rooms and it’s still bloody annoying

it’s just pushing through it so you can get to the good stuff, honestly

Is this a stay of execution or my sentence?

i’ve been vaguely thinking of casinos recently so that’ll be fun
but that doesn’t fit into my theme of “middle of nowhere town” at all

so make it a gambling hall instead

okay gambling halls are simple

probably mainly composed of wood, sorta like how i see it in the Judgement games. own currency, stuff like that. corner bar, and two individual rooms for games

what games though? i don’t know how to bloody play mahjong or shogi so it’ll have to be something else. baccarat has no player interaction, i’ve done poker
