tbh im currently in “wow that’s interesting, i’ll figure it out on not a holiday” mode esp since it barely matters

but i do think its curious that the timestamps aren’t inaccurate - like, if the backend was working that would make since since those are probably just set to whatever epoch time and then your client does the “that’s X time here” bit

so like that implies it’s recording the right number when a post is made, but when the forum itself tries to dictate something that is wrong - for example, checking the local time for a user, or scheduling a topic to close, are both off by one hour

i wonder if post timestamps are just generated on the client that posts them, would explain that ig

No shot that’s generated client side. The server likely is accurate and there’s a bug in the application or plugin.

It becomes entirely on the opener if they spoil themself

But I recognize that opening spoilers is a reflexive action (as someone who reflexively opens spoilers)
