cars make me soooooooo much more motion sick than planes. If iā€™m not driving, anything over an hour and a half and I have to put all of my focus into not expelling my insides

I try to turn the car AC on and put my hand in front of the unit so it makes my hand all chilly and it manages to stop it. Or I try to take a sip from a sugary drink, bless coca cola or just open my window for 3 minutes.

If I drink water instead it just makes it kind of worse. I wonder if sugar specifically does something to my stomach to distract it from my ears (responsible for motion sickness) being all whacked up.

yeah water makes it worse for me because it makes my stomach heavier. AC on high or windows down both help. Also just focusing on my breathing in general

I need to game theory whenever the volume of breathing specifically makes the motion sickness worse. Cuz me breathing alot does make it worse, we also used car odorants and my takeaway from it is that my motion sickness only accepts neutral scents, nothing sugary or stenchy.

Maybe if I lower my heart rate and breath very slowly through my nose I could maybe finally not feel it.

mouth breathe. I have basically 0 sense of smell, although if the air is hot and stuffy i still feel that and feel sicker. But I donā€™t get that when mouth breathing.
