I know I don’t give a shit.
Anyways, sometimes we’ll be in the office and one of us will say to the other, “hey do you want to hear the cutest sound in the world?” And then whoever is speaking will pet Harrow on the cat tree while she’s looking out the window, and then she’ll whip her head around and make, well, the cutest sound in the world. She also will do the thing that cats do where you’ll be petting her and she’ll roll onto her side or back, and when you pet her belly, instead of it being a setup to get your hand close so the claws of all 4 limbs can get a piece of the action, she is just vibes and enjoys the attention. She’s really the best.
Our other cat, Gideon, has to pet in just the right way or she’ll bite/scratch. And sometimes she’ll just bite/scratch anyway because she’s just like that. (She’s usually pretty good about giving you a warning first like she nip you with her mouth but not hard enough to break skin or even hurt, but it’s so funny how differently she reacts.) Gideon is very much a mommy’s girl too though like while we’re on the couch, she loves laying on us. Weirdly she never does it in our bed (Harrow does, it’s adorable), but on the couch she wants lap time all the time.

someone in a ~fiction server I’m in came up with a cool trick you can do in Pathfinder, where if you have a bullseye lantern (lantern that only sheds light on one ~side), and you cast Silence on a rock and stick it in the lantern, now you have a cone of Silence that you can point at enemy spellcasters without disrupting your own
(apparently there’s a better-known version of this trick where you cast Darkness instead and have a lantern that emits dark. but I’ve never heard of someone doing it with Silence before!)
sadly it doesn’t work in 5e
