the longest complete, non-collaborative* work I’ve written is a novella I wrote in college, ~mostly? during junior year
it’s not, like, good! but it exists
I was mostly excited about finishing it because prior to that point I had basically only managed to finish things by writing them in a 1-2 day burst of hyperfocus, and this one actually required, like, sustained effort over an extended period
* like, not something I was co-authoring with one or more other people. Normal “having someone look at it and give feedback” wouldn’t be an issue.

my writing style is like that of an eccentric inventor
on ocassion i will have a flash of inspiration and then dissapear into my workshop for a number of hours and then come out with a wonderful invention that everybody adores, but that likely needs some level of refining
and then i put it on a shelf somewhere and forgot about it
