Doing a legal assignment where I have to write a memo as legal counsel for one side or the other, and it’s slightly devastating to try and edit the first draft to find that the other side’s argument is, “Judge in the other case you can cite says your client can’t file at all regardless of the circumstances.”

(It is slightly more complicated than this: the case in question - a fictional one - states that a governmental agency cannot make statements about specific companies because the agency possesses power over them, which is…the entire point of an agency being able to make statements? A company suing because the agency goes, “We have evidence to prove [company] has been the source of numerous outbreaks” should be dismissable under anti-SLAPP.)

wolfia (which would run 7 as 4v3, 8 as 5v3) generally has evens preferred but i think fol does the numbers differently
