This is a general phrase that’s deeply resonant to Ashley () in many ways, but the way it’s relevant here is that her back issues are flaring up immensely, and she likens her back pain to her “wings of flame” at times. The tension in her back wasn’t part of her awareness during her gaming you see, so deep her focus (and similar concepts) were, and so it’s hitting her all at once now that she’s done.
