the spacebar on my keyboard is messed up
that’s really annoying
it seems to just be in one specific spot but that specific spot is exactly where i press it
it might be fixed now
How tf does one survive blind mapping (game) with primitive applications such as Paint…?
Hm...
Use arrows; not lines. (I.e., arcs; not edges.) If you go to a direction, then there is no guarantee that you can go back to the same tile/node where you came from.
Do not assume Euclidean logic: Even if one can go from A to B using one direction (e.g., north), do not always assume that going the opposite direction from B (i.e., south) leads back to A.
Beware of loops. Arrows/arcs may lead a player from a tile/node back to the same tile/node. If the available directions from this turn is equal to the the ones from the previous turn, then assume you went through a loop-arc.
Tiles/nodes fortunately do not possess any weird oddities besides having some special effects. (E.g., bad space, good space, [effect] space, etc.) Teleport would suck a bit in the early stages, but might be valuable in end-game if you were to have an accurate map. (Because after getting teleported, you get to know which tile you’re at.)
The DM is not merciful, but at least he has set some limitations as a form of mercy. The amount of tiles/nodes ranges between 20 and 30.
There are multiple players. (Often three to four.) All players (incl. yourself) start on different tiles. Multiple tiles; multiple data; faster means of collecting data for your cartography.
Either expand your canvas, or compress your map; Use every means available to gain the most data. From what I can think of, the WCS is using multiple Paint-windows, each denoting a turn. (Though the downside would be the difficulty of keeping track of all of them as you leave early-game and enter mid-game.)
Remember: You are playing a competitive game against other players, but you also play against the DM’s whims. While it is unlikely that he messes with the board in early-game (e.g. by adding or removing arcs and nodes), the odds of such happening increases if he is not well-entertained.
Also remember: You are playing for fun. Do not become a sweaty try hard. Play suboptimally if it means that everyone gets to see a funnier scene.

This sounds almost like those games that the YouTuber Magic the Noah inflicts upon his friends and other YouTubers
Well, yeah. This was what I learned from his latest video. It’s entertaining to watch, but I’m especially interested in the game itself, in particular as a player. The game is very fun to explore. (If someone were to host one on FoL, then I’d sign up in a heartbeat.)
I was not expecting that it really was inspired by him lmao
Definitely would be fun to play maybe
sooo tired
There’s something really amusing to me about this writing choice where after getting into a fight & being very annoyed, a character knocks down a painting and then begins thinking about the painting & its religious significance and uses this to guide her future actions (This does include you, the player, needing to choose the correct way of acting in this context. if you pick wrong you die!). It makes sense but it feels out of place in the text / genre. Or a result of the writing being a bit odd in general.
hello cookie thread, i am incredibly vexed about something that ultimately doesn’t matter
i request snacks. give me snacks.
i have some cheese that’s. i mean ok it says it’s good for another like five months but i’ve also had it for like six months and that feels wrong. it is also just a block of cheddar cheese. I also have a small thing of mustard
