itās just horseradish
but uhh itās a different chemical than chili peppers which have capsaicin, so it produces a different sensation
and yeah i gt the feeling of vapor going up in my nose if i use too much

well, you probably have, because most of the time wasabi at sushi places in the west is made from horseradish rather than actual wasabi, both because itās more available and because actual wasabi paste loses its flavor if it sits for too long
