So far season 5 of Peaky Blinders is really disappointing.

I assume they got a budget upgrade because everything now looks HD, but the writing, the dialogue and the characters are much worse than previous seasons IMO. They’re trying to make it into this epic thing with over-the-top music and it really doesn’t work for me.

The show just feels like a shell of its former self now.
