Yes thats how I looked at it my first time around. Neverending nightmare and horrible to debug. The real game is finding out whats the simplest system you can have that scales to nearly all of mafia. Especially if you want user generated formats

I’m going to be sticking with the current code but adding standard roles / post parsers / etc*, and probably something where roles can indicate that they behave in certain nice ways (and if all roles behave nicely then NAR and such can be used)
This is to keep the possibility of having arbitrary roles while also allowing for normal ones to have good action resolution
*A lot of this is done - for example the modkill syntax parser is just syn.syntax_parser_constructor(command_name="modkill", parameter_list=[syn.SYNTAX_PARSER_PLAYERNAME])
