tbh my personal advice would probably be like “play the first chapter; if you are interested in more of that but without most free-time events, definitely keep going. If not… sad.” (I think from a story perspective you could probably skip to watching chapter 6, if you want to keep it quick, without too much consequence but the experience…)

yeah the murder case itself is somewhat barebones but the intrigue and the atmosphere and the daily life and nikei (my favorite almost exclusively because of this chapter) puts it above chapter 3 for me
