this post sucks

Where are you getting the RPs and how do I shove the radio into such situations

i just remembered how cool hotline miami 2 is

the range issue and the window issues are really rough but the repetition and complete cruelty allows the final strike from the player to feel really good

and the individual stories explored are well thought of

Okay

I don’t think you can shove the radio in the stormlight archive, but you could in the masquarade DC comics RP

Again, where.

i find it really interesting how video games specifically go about storytelling

they are regarded storywise as a whole. as in, when you finish a game, the protagonists state is left at the end. you can freely look through the past without the characters actually “reliving” it, just looking at past events

if you compare that to, say, something like chava huxley, who’s story is a linear progression without any looking back. any future effort from me would be expanding rather than relooking.

hl2 spoilers

which makes it really interesting when hl2 breaks that mold, and demands of you to know that replaying it just makes people suffer more for no reason just cause you wanted more fun

both hotline miami and hl2 are great games

i’d recommend if you like suffering (of your own or others) and/or storytelling
