I solved the daily Clues by Sam (Oct 21st 2025) in 05:36
I got too hasty. I didn’t notice B4’s clue excludes D5, and I didn’t think deeper when I first read D4’s clue so I thought Row 2 could only have 2 innocents at most.
Also I’m pretty sure I lost a couple of seconds because I had momentarily treated C2’s clue as mere commentary. (spoiler)

Man fuck this professor. Just did god’s most demeaning extra credit project where we had to go through a rubric and grade 2 other groups group projects. out of 15
If we are not within 1 point of the grade she gave according to this vague ass rubric, we will get NO credit.
I’m hoping she actually follows this rubric because these dogshit chatgpt projects deserve like 40% according to the rubric. But I have no way of knowing if she follows it or is giving pity points.

School seems genuinely so cooked right now. So much AI bullshit everywhere. Assignments generated by AI, completed with AI, and graded by it. Machines grading machines on a thing made by machines, sometimes all by the same machine. An entirely pointless exercise that hurts every human in the process and the environment. Even under the most cynical, capitalist analysis, it’s still pointless and bad because it doesn’t even make anyone money. None of these things make money.
OpenAI needs to be making a trillion dollars in revenue in 5 years to justify the data center build outs now. That’s more revenue than like all major tech companies combined. They have a revenue of $13 billion dollars and are hilariously in the red. Sora 2 is the latest flashy toy meant to keep investors from catching on that it’s all smoke and mirrors. Unmonetized video generation that they have no idea how to monetize on an app that’s like TikTok. However, those videos can also be uploaded to other platforms like TikTok or YouTube and they can’t possibly hope to compete with those platforms because neither of them pay for the content uploaded to them. It’s just complete nonsense. It’s obviously bunk if you think about it for even a second.

The argument we’re not in a bubble right now is that the price of Nvidia 's chips keeps going up. This ignores that Nvidia is making deal after deal after deal with companies that require them to buy chips but they invest in the company. The chips they’re obligated to buy for that investment is worth far less than the chips. That is, they’re giving these companies a discount which Nvidia would not have to do if the demand was high enough to justify the price. It’s not actually going up because of organic demand! We’re in a bubble!
Worst thing is it’s the only reason we’re not in a recession right now. It’s gonna pop inevitably because these numbers don’t make any sense at all, it’s just blatant fiction to continue the hype for as long as possible. All the people responsible will have made money from it. The big tech companies are using capital they have on hand so they’ll be fine at the end of the day. However, folks with money in index funds (i.e. most people with like a 401k or any kind of retirement investment account) are almost certainly going through have a huge percentage of that retirement fund in tech stocks because of how ridiculous their percentage of the market is currently. It’s gonna wreak havoc on regular people and nuke their retirement accounts. People are going to lose their jobs from the economic downturn etc. etc. All of this bullshit to line the pockets of the rich even further and fuck a ton of people over.
