Rusty cage/wall. (Like a prison, or the armory back at the fort.) Sleeping dreadwalkers woke up and attacked. Bracken and Dorothy left the building last. Silas protected the girls, and got injured in the leg. (Torn muscles.) Rue and Gwen were also injured (somewhere).
Returned to base, dreadwalkers followed, Dr. Finley and Vinitrine reattached the muscles with a meat hook while the coven girls were treated by Dr. Robin. Ended up bloody and incapable of big movements, but alive.
Received chocolate from Vinitrine. (Impressive that she still had that.) ((Doctors had 11 bandages left at this point.)) Leopold was attacked, but saved by armor. Light chatter with the doctors about an apple a day, banana being the most sanitary fruit, but apples lasting a long time.
Silas told a story about warrior Sieghart who loved the people (selflessness). Brynhilda, fairest maiden, chiefâs daughter, ability to measure person, distrust Sieghart, challenged him to vanquish plaguing beast at snowy mountain. Sieghart wished to prove, thus he left and met the beast. Creature attempted to intimidate (without attacking), but got intimidated instead when Sieghart didnât waver. Story interrupted, Evie found clinic with bodies, Solomon screamed. [Hide and Seek.]
