Haldevar is malnourished… –HAHAHAHA! “The church has pastries? I chose the wrong faith” HAHAHAHA. Haa… Branwen, Stiorra will kick your ass for saying that.
…n? Why is Gwen’s view on Tom negative again? I thought this was remedied at the end of E6? Or was it retconned since it was interrupted by the end? Or did Gwen just put up a front to hide her true thoughts? …meh, IDK. At least nobody is proactively hostile. Just… paranoid, at worst. Ah. She had merely forgotten about the conversation in the heat of the moment.
A small group separated themselves from the southern expedition to investigate the poppy fields. Stiorra went off to the flowers and hallucinated. Gwen and Branwen attempted to bring her back, but Stiorra retaliated and choked Gwen. (I thought the flowers act as sedatives?) ((I guess they also act as hallucinogen?))
The group was attacked on their way back. Gwen has traumatic fear at gunshots. She ran away from the group, arriving first at the fort, running straight to the coven– to her room, and hurdled, hugging her knees. When she regained her cool, she noticed she was bleeding from the attacks, and got escorted by Sir Tom to the doctor. (He has shown goodwill.)
Gwen talked with Branwen… mainly about Stiorra, who had unconsciously(?) attacked her in the field. (Was she cleansing the blight by taking it into her, losing herself in the process?) Gwen… is actively naïve. Eliza sees everything positively, so she’s naïve in that sense, but Gwen’s character is made such that uh. “different genders have different roles”. She will not attack; if she were to be attacked, then it’d be the Protector’s job to, well, protect her.
