Ah, yes. Language. The ever changing meta.
I hate it. In Dutch, people have begun to use incorrect grammar, most prominently “them instead of they” and “as instead of than”.
Instead of “ze zijn vreemd” (they are weird),
people say “hun zijn vreemd” (them are weird).
Instead of “dit is groter dan dat” (this is bigger than that",
people say “dit is groter als dat” (this is bigger as that).
This “change” is one of the few things that constantly irks me. They’re not even correct, but it’s “since everybody does it, I guess I will too” mob mentality nonsense.
My memory’s a bit hazy about POV6. There were too many events that were either uninteresting as a whole (e.g., girls talk), or already covered by other POVs. I might need to recheck them again to be sure, because I fell asleep with Twitch VODs running. (I also need to review the 20 minute window from POV5, huh…)
Anyhow, nothing else of subjective importance happened in POV6 E8, and I need to rewatch POV6 E9. (Though I doubt anything will change.)
I’d like to clean my palate first though, so… POV9 E10! Adjudicator lead the morning drill with the mercs (among others Halvard and Lumi). Nothing of importance happened IYAM, though I suppose Declan might have had some fun playing as a dreadwalker. ((IYAM, it’d be much faster to train these folks the vagabond way and throw them to the south for live combat than this… “training”.))
Met Solomon and chatted about the rune on the guild building, about the vagabonds, and about trust. Apparently Declan has a contact that might arrive at E11? Found Dr. Finley, and uh… Oh right. Poppy-derived opioid drug. Heh. –someone knocked on the door. Right. 'Twas Branwen who came for a checkup. ((Oh yeah, he survived death’s door from E9’s “fox” hunting incident.))
He got drugged LMAO. ((Aaand he puked from the side-effects. All things considered, it’s a rather mild one. At least there’s no addiction side-effect.)) …huh, Eliza also visited the doctor. ((Makes sense. Her leg nearly had to be amputated according to E9. Probably another checkup.))
Went to guards to get a musket– I’m going to interrupt myself to rewatch POV5 E10. I can’t shake off the nagging feeling that that 20 minutes might be important.
Ulysses Tarbek was tasked to aid the church (i.e., Jebedaiah and Sir Tom). Apparently some sort of offering was required for their own event?
Talked with Mr. Thorn about abandoned buildings to the south. (Chat said shipment arrived?) Farmland wheat (from E9) are unfit for consumption according to E9, but something from the loot was able to be used for something else. ((I am a bad listener, and I don’t particularly care about the details.))
Casimir has to send a letter to Gwen. Nocturna guild sharpshooting event started. (Okay, so I didn’t miss too much.) Chug three mugs of guards’ ale, load musket, and fire at box above dummy. (If box was hit, then roll d20 to determine accuracy.) Declan grazed. Leopold missed. Dominguez grazed. Kasimir grazed. Vaan hit close to center. Tarbek chugged the barrel LMAO, worst shot yet (but still hit the box). Tetch dove into the barrel and tried to shoot from the back (trickshot lol) and hit Dane’s window instead LMAO. Mr. Thorn best shot yet, millimeters from the mark. Capt. Dane shot from above the wall, hit the box, but not as close as the riflemen. ((And we know that Haldvar got a Nat20 beginner’s luck, followed by a normal shot later on.))
that’s an issue I know of. (if you look closely enough, you would even see the cage outline on the fake region sum line.)
I don’t have enough knowledge to fix the issue. And putting the clues back together is only the first part of the challenge. So I would say it’s fine.
…I feel like I need Powerpoint or MS Paint for this puzzle. There’s no way I have enough memory space and mental power to remember what was already where and which groups are or are not colliding.
Well yeah. Probably because I am a loner and don’t use my voicebox often enough to develop my vocal speech. (That doesn’t impact my reading and writing comprehension though, so "I know what to say, but not how to speak.)
