D’ohhh, I got excited for a second, wrong type of deadlock discussion
you’d think “the hero forefold in legends” would be someone to look out for really
Only bc it keeps making dad jokes
I couldn’t figure out why the B1C3 thermo had to be [123], so I got a [234]-deadlock after ~25 minutes. After backtracking, I solved the puzzle in 31:38 total.
- 72 hrs day, 0 hrs rest
- 48 hrs day, 24 hrs rest

Oh yeah. Now I remember what I did. (I had forgotten all about it today prior to reading this post.)
Yeah, but the legends are also pretty vague, and there’s a shitton of wannabe heroes that fit the bill.
72/0 nightless cycles sounds like pure hell ngl
How is it nightless if there is a rest?
Wouldn’t that be functionally the same as having a night?
Fermi Question of the Day: “How many divorces took place in Germany in 2024?”
Misread the arrows again, it should’ve been in two
Really? Considering the absence of action throughout 48 hrs day phases like The Cheesening, I don’t think adding an extra 24 hours will give anyone any more stress.
It’s nightless because there’s no night kill.
More about player sanity
being forced to have no downtime to think about the day and move on right away is rough
plus breaks are nice so players can do other things in their lives safely
consult your oracle???
Oh hey Jimmy Kimmel has his show back
See, that’s the thing though… From what I see, players don’t seem to be using their day phase well enough. My downtime / breaks is literally contained within at least 24 hours of each 48 hour day phase, because FMPOV in the past couple of games, there doesn’t seem to be anything progressive going on between [6 hrs after SOD] and [6 hrs before EOD].
If it weren’t for nightless, then I even had ideas of hosting a 36/12.
'cuz nobody will use the removed 24 hours anyway.
I remember I was taking classes for this creative writing competition thing, and we were doing a practice story. I don’t remember much, I remember that the main character was a spy and the villain had something to do with spiders (we had to use random prompts/words in the story)
But i VERY distrinctly remember one of the critiques. At the end of the story, the main character guy retires from being a spy and becomes a stay at home dad.
And the tutor/teacher lady was like “there’s no such thing as a stay at home dad, that makes no sense”. And it absolutely fucking broke my 9 year old brain. And I was like what. Why cant a dad take care of the kid while the mom works. And my tutor teacher just said that isnt how it worked.
And I like stayed confused about it until like 15 or whatever when I learned what misandry was
was she the kind of english teacher who complains about her boyfriend/husband to her seventh graders
