you need the box 4’s 6-cage. (it remained as an 18, cause that’s where I started to build the puzzle in the first place, so I left in just for rememberance. Also it’s funny. (also, without bifurcation, that’s the easiest part to start with.))

List of POVs and Episodes

Going back to POV8 E8 to see what I had missed.

Context of Whitelocks is related to cult IIRC. Lumi asked for dress. (We have watched E10. It was beautiful.)

Cassandra found ledger speaking about a place filled with sulfur (i.e., gunpowder component). Cassandra trusted Solomon more than Dane. Silas and Cassandra (and Solomon) don’t trust the idea of bear from the north. (Because no food, so why bear nearby?)

E8 northern expedition group returned. Haldvar informed Silas and Cassandra about wraith. Dahlia drew defense rune on back of Silas’ right hand. Overheard Haldvar-Cassandra whisper: Gedna’s name. Will converse with doctors at E9. Dr. Finley requested needles.

Justin bought rations from Silas and mentioned he was banned from the tavern.

Vinitrine bought chocolate, and bargained with following secret information: Leopold had saved her life. (Dunno when this happened. New info indeed.)

…? No you don’t. Box 4 gets solved late, but it is nowhere near impossible. And this is coming from the guy who usually bifurcates.

Step 1

Step 2

Blue cannot be in 10-cages because it’d break otherwise.

Step 3

[3] in R6C7 breaks the 10-cages, and if it was in R6C9, then the 10-cages would already have 7 (i.e., 4 + 3) and still needs to fill in two (different) tiles (because [cage] and [same column]), and one of the tiles has its value doubled (i.e., R6C7).

Ergo, [3] cannot be in B6R6 and has to be in R5C9. This causes the 10-cages to be filled with either 2x[1]+[4]+[2]+[2] or 2x[2]+[4]+[1]+[1].

Step 4

Fill in some numbers at Box 3.

Notice that the fact that [5] has to be filled in B9R7 resolves [5]'s placement in Box 7.

Step 5

Resolve B8 and B9, and then B3 and B4.

Step 6

Resolve R1’s [4] using C6.
Resolve B8R7.
Place [4] in C2.

Step 7, Placement of (6) in Box 4

After this, you can probably figure out the rest.
