One of my housemates years ago slept on the floor. He had a bedframe, but he was too lazy to buy a mattress. Note: he wasn’t struggling financially, he could easily afford a mattress, he was just too lazy to buy one. It was his first time living away from his parents I think

Summer patch to the soweli Ranks Objects In Her Room Based On How Good They Are For Throwing In The Air (with intent to catch them) List:
scallop sea shell: Kind of fun with the texture if you do it right but it’s sharp. also really light. 3/10
cube of plastic: pretty good in the spin/weight but can end up hurting. 8/10
cube of plastic inverted to be a dodecahedron: lot of the same benefits of the cube, feels more aerodynamic but it’s hollow now & bigger so it requires a bigger catch, ends up collapsing a lot when i miss. 8.5/10
boppy (the rock) (the statue): i don’t even know. sure. why not. 5/10

Love bringing up periodically for about a year that we really need to start working a particular project soon. We finally start working on it a month ago, but I’m like the lead on it and I had the next week off which basically meant nothing got done in the first two weeks. So now, after about 2 weeks of work, I learn that it basically needs to be done in 3 weeks. I’m not super happy about this because I do not think it’s something that can be completed in 3 weeks.
