When I was an 11 year old “girl” I really desperately wanted to be tall
And, being aroace, that consideration was irrelevant. I just wanted to be tall. Now I was also not a girl (and the wanting to be tall thing was very much in substantial part a Gender thing in my case 
) so I’m really not a relevant example to your line of thought whatsoever.
But anyway there is plenty of reasons a girl could want to be tall that have nothing to do with dating boys lmao
