the wagons were nonexistent

d1 was almost a 3-way tie between two players and no one, each with 2 votes, and then 3 1-vote vanity wagons (ended up voting out the more inactive player)
d2 was 3 votes on a wagon that sat most of the day with 2 votes and like 5 1-vote vanity wagons
d3 the lovers both voted carbon (who was lying about her role) & mafia stacked to hammer and win by shooting the lovers

the vote choices themselves were like fine, but it was just the general stagnation I think. (and desperado not shooting despite almost being flashwagoned in the last minutes of both d1 and d2. desperado is a totally new role to qbcord though, so they didn’t know how to play it.) d3 massclaim would have put a lot of pressure on wolves.

town was doing fine the last game, so this is probably tutuu’s fault (because I made each day only 22 hours long)

I have suddenly become very concerned about QBCord’s variety. (If they are not used to Desperado… are they even used to any “non-standard” roles at all?)

We are a bit too used to non-standard roles.

I’m taking a slight bit of offense here

in all seriousness nah we have variety we just don’t use the desperado SPECIFICALLY as in we just. never introduced it lmao

I don’t regret lying about my role

what’s your success rate when you lie about your role as town now, 0-3?

I watched a video of police interrogating a murderer and they called him out on his AtEing, accused him of “there’s no tears coming out of your face” and that was so goated coz it was true, guy was trying so hard to cry but couldn’t produce tears L bozo

yeah, I think we have a lot of creative roles, but due to most people playing only within our circuit, the set of “normalized” roles does not include roles that are common elsewhere. new players are going to building their games off roles they’ve seen in-play already, not necessarily looking online for new/uncommon roles, which over time builds up a bank of “common” roles that are modified to fit flavor

like the concept of desperado never occurred to me until I saw one on FoL; we have vigs with guilt but not where the player being shot doesn’t die if town, for example – kills that only work on a specific alignment/player aren’t really a thing (yet?) (dayvigs are also really uncommon).

I was curious. It wasnt a raw footage it was a murder case narrated by another person and just showed highlights

highlights? of the murder case?

do they know that “the suspect didn’t cry” isn’t admissable evidence in court besides maybe swaying the jury

They Iikely do

the cops were likely trying get to the suspect confess by fucking with them which they often will if left alone with someone which is yet another reason that you should not talk to the police without a lawyer present. every day is shut the fuck up friday

They weren’t, they were patient and respectful. The suspect just didn’t have an answer to the question “why was your blood at the murder scene” other than fake cry. Well some of them. It also showed a bit from an interrogation decades ago where the cops tried to do what you described to an innocent person

I suppose i dont see liars often irl and i got drawn into seeing people’s body language and behavior when lying
