you didn’t know this?

hale is just stored as heavy with a bunch of mods added onto him

I knew Hale was just modded Heavy, I was just hoping it would maybe do something like that for the sake of me being able to ACTUALLY FUCKING SEE MORE THAN 2 PERCENT OF THE SCREEN WHEN I HAVE A CRIT PUNCH
Because holy fuck the Hale crit particles are so fucking obtrusive

Like hmm yes let’s make the particles for a critical punch be able to take up like 40% of your screen

have you tried spending it quicker

I CAN’T WHEN I’M TRYING TO FIGHT A TROLDIER, THE ONLY OTHER PERSON I CAN SEE IS AN RPSING SCOUT, AND I, AGAIN, CAN’T SEE THE TROLDIER I’M TRYING TO PUNCH HALF THE TIME

hm that sounds like you should try harder fmpov

I sentence you to Hale against 20 Troldiers of an at least decent skill level.

their melee hitbox will collide if there’s that many

You still won’t be able to actually fucking kill them though.

Especially when you have a crit punch and the game decides to go go gadget obscure half your screen

i think you just need to try harder and land your crit punches quicker

also can’t you just raise your fov for when specifically you get hale

No because, again, it just uses the heavyweapons.cfg when you get hale, so any configurations there would also apply to playing Heavy normally. And your regular FOV doesn’t affect your viewmodels anyways.

i needed something more commanding, frightening, respectable pfp for when FAM ITAs roll around

sworn it does

i meant just turn it up when you play hale then just turn it back down after

If I recall correctly, there’s a seperate setting for viewmodel FOV, and I kind of like the normal viewmodel sizes for most purposes, except for with Saxton Hale, due to the obtrusive crit VFX.

that’s a bird on a paper plate
