Yeah and I think they can be overly centralizing too depending on implementations like if people can be invited then it tends to be in the same 20% of the masher population from game to game, and it’s that same pool that also tends to have extra responsibilities placed on them by the thread or their team on top of it. I’m generally fond of my current pfp. Plus, it’s a higher resolution than the actual screenshot itself because why would Smash actually let you get a high-quality image of your Mii fighter in the default pose?
