The pressure in the refrigerant line (I think that was where it was?) is supposed to be around 200 PSI and ours is basically 600. The tech said we have to turn off the AC because it’s too dangerous to keep it on, and that running in this state may have caused significant damage to the compressor. Yippee. We’re supposed to leave for a week long vacation tomorrow which on the one hand is nice because we won’t be here but our cats and cat sitter is supposed to be.

It was about $17k and we were told to expect Monday at the earliest. Like if we bought right then there was a chance it could be tomorrow, but we’re expecting like $12k at most because it’s a condo.
