It happened to me so many times when I was writting an academic essay and I gave up and had to search for the papers myself. It hallucinates even the Constitution.

List of POVs and Episodes

Report about northern expedition, chased by bear or unknown entity. Complaint from Justin about lack of info about monsters. [DM’ing southern expedition, first encounter poppy fields.] ((Odd skip around 2:23:00.))

Woodsman made new (thick) braces for south gate, made with a lot of iron. Informed about southern expedition by Daisy and Solomon. Patrol walls. Brief talk with Dirk, Nathaniel, and Vaan at the walls. Plan to talk with Declan. Talk with Daisy at tavern. Talk with Solomon about rune with note under guild building. Party at guard barrack, one-time bonus, pay raise, explaining past with Stiorra, reasons to be at the fort. (Joshua, the second madman, volunteered.)

Surprisingly, at least four-fifths of this POV are stuff I already know from other POVs. Back to POV6 E10 I go!

[Coven advisor stuff.] Fat goat found. (Not Gertrude.) [Walking around the fort.] Northern expedition to loot the bear carcass from previous day(s). Theo, Silas, Dr. Robin, Rue, and Haldvar.

Met up with the northern gathering group. Retrieved Gertrude. Revealed to Dr. Robin on the way back to the fort that he’s a coven baby. Theo never finished the ritual where sons of the coven are killed, and instead abandoned the baby in the forest.

Talked with Mr. Thorne about something, and then the runes at the trees for the expeditions. Talked with the church members about planting new seeds and celebration of Nocturna. Searched for Edward to help him cook, failed to find him.

Chat with Gwen and Stiorra about church, small negative opinions. (Girls talk.) Preparing for Nocturna. Shared info about Dr. Robin to Stiorra… He’s her son!?

YEAH they literally just make shit up that sound good. Also it turns out that the latest models from like all of the companies when given the option between being shutdown or blackmailing/literally killing a person, they chose the latter a majority of the time even when instructed to not harm humans. They would still do it like 30%+ of the time when given explicit instructions to not do that thing. Basically, when given the option between doing what they think is their goal and literally anything else that isn’t doing that (being shutdown or otherwise), their algorithms always prioritize the former even if it means to cheat or ignore ethics, morality, whatever. (They don’t have an actual sense of ethics or morality or anything, they don’t think or understand or feel, but it’s a consequence of how they are trained. The models that essentially get the highest grades on the test win out, and that’s often the models that essentially stumbled into cheating as an option. If you tell it to find a paper on a particular topic, it’s going to give you the name of a paper, even if you tell to only use real papers, because it Will Not Fail to do what you told it to do.)

Someone (not in an academic context) used ChatGPT as a source because they thought it was exclusively trained on factual information and therefore the best source or some bullshit like that. (I don’t remember the exact wording and they deleted the post)

I think i need to stop using AoE when dming ttrpgs

Without fail whenever I use an AoE I instantly turn the party into a smoldering pile of dust

My -2 constitution Bard remains standing, despite being less than half health, from the TPK-threatening AoE that dropped a party member from 87 HP to 0 in a single spell
