No bifurcation needed.

Reason

In box 6 [8] is forced into column 7, and with a little bit of coloring you will see, that r1c5 and r5c9 are the same, but r1c6 and r6c9 aren’t. (and since r1c6 has to be a [9] r1c6 needs to be the bigger number.)
