Itâs likely because you have a HDD and not an SSD

This happens because Steam compresses the game and sends it in chunks which your computer downloads fully as chunks and then decompresses & extracts, and your computer is getting bottlenecked at the decompression stage because hard drives are absolutely terrible at doing anything with high quantities of files

Not even halfway through the six hour, and so far we have: Nice talk with Dane, the priest pressing for the creation of a church (fuck the church), a supposedly dead deadly anti-coven man alive (Adam something), encountering Poppies during expedition to the south.
Sudden growth, pollen causes sleep. Monsters are unaffected. Good news: Whatever Stiorra left behind (book?) was retrieved. Maybe the piece of wood was also retrieved for the carpenter.
Paranoia on Daisy, but also: She was the one who fucking saved your ass from the damn sleeping pollens, so Iâm PRETTY SURE she is not one of them.

Tetch is wounded, but at least heâs alive. The injury is not to the point of incapacitation, so⌠Unless the monsters are doing a botched job, then it seems to me that they donât know the warfare strategy of âinjuring the enemy soldiers are better than killing themâ.
