3 is laughably easy compared to 2 :wowee:

Rules so far

Summary
  1. All segments of a snake must have the same sum
  2. Circles in a snake must be the length of the snake
  3. Cyan striped head means the number must be even, orange means the number must be odd

Combine the rules you know so far. (also, if yo don’t see both end of an insect, it has things to hide.

I just feel like I can’t possibly have enough information unless there was a rule I didn’t figure out

Am I supposed to know what those 2 blue stripes at the head of the snakes mean?

Also you definetly should pencilmark some in the fog.

hint

In a 6x6 sudoku, there are 3 even and 3 odd number in each row and column.)

If you mean the antenna/horn, this isn’t the rule you need to know.

I’m not opening that hint

(because I’m stupid)

Am I supposed to fill in a number I don’t actually know just to clear the fog?

Would that even work?

No. Every number to fill in is solvable.
(You might assumea new rule wrongly, but in that case, the rules you already learned would notch you, that it is wrong somewhere eventually.)

If you don’t see anything new, you definetly have something you can put down.
(I’m slower than Zone in a lot of these things, because I don’t like bifurcating.)

You can put numbers in the fog though. (and sometimes you need to.)

I also don’t want to bifurcate but I really don’t know what to do beyond this :pensive:

Summary

You definetly missing a rule. (Even though you listed in your rules above… (which is weird), I suggest you to look at puzzle 3 again, and check it more thoroughly.)

I’m listening to Cracking The Cryptic because I don’t understand this one

ooooooh

Summary

The snakes with the orange/blue stripes are entirely odd/even

I thought it was just the head :pensive:

Now there’s an arrow :eyes:

Yeah, I needed a little nudge on the final puzzle as well, after I was looking at that for half an hour. (I couldn’t find out the correlation by myself, but the moment they brought it up, it clicked before they said the missing step out loud.)

Okay, now I need to figure out what the arrows mean

yes, that’s a good plan.
