i’ve known a good number of brazilian trans girls and honestly I am glad I grew up in the US instead of brazil. Maybe that might change eventually because it seems like there are just way less barriers to transition in brazil but I DIY’d anyways and i’ve heard too many horror stories otherwise about crime/retribution against trans ppl specifically.

Fun fact: one of the projects I worked on (in a minor capacity) was attempting to convince Bolsanaro’s government to jointly invest in a solar energy plant alongside private investors.

This wasn’t exactly a high school thing; I interned at a startup, and the guy liked me enough to put me in contact with the person in charge of an economic advisory firm that does these kinds of things.
They’ve now transitioned into a proper investment bank, so it’s kinda insane in hindsight that I got that break.

Death Eater grasp burnt and gave phantom pain. Two Death Eaters appeared. Roland threw water on one’s candle. Death Eater got enraged, attacked Roland, and survived after a point-blank flintlock… and through all that, Roland survived! (IIRC got later saved by Lucien? Or at the very least supported by him.) Oliver stole the candle of another Death Eater, and uh. that action got retconned? (He survived. That’s all that matters.)

Regrouped at main building. Robbie out of med supplies, but Roland survived… I guess Finley still had some and saved Roland in time. Dunno how, but Roland simply had enough strength to stand and walk limping.

Ostmann died calling for Solomon, unable to give his final words. Doctors only had two bandages, but there should be a clinic nearby.
