My laptop completely died today. Ive used it for 7 years, and it wasnt brand new, it was used before that, so probably 8-10 years usage. RIP King, you were a real one. I cried. I got really attached to it

doing okay. had to take the kittens to the vet this morning. they’re both mostly okay, but one still has pretty severe gum inflammation on her back molars (the other one has it as well, but just much less extreme). The other one has high calcium which is probably fine, but there’s an exceedingly small chance it’s cancer (she’s very young, and her calcium was only mildly high). Still we want to take every precaution so we have to get a test done, and depending on how that comes back we’ll need to do more tests etc. The gum inflammation situation is annoying because we totally have to change their diet and their picky bitches. The last time we tried diet food they deadass stopped eating and were persistently meowing like they haven’t really done before (which cats may do if they’re hungry), and that stopped once we switched back to their old food so bleh. Hopefully this time it goes better. I think the key thing is trying a novel protein since a likely cause is just a protein allergy. We’re going to try the diet food, but I’m buying some food from the same brand (bougie ass human-grade ingredient shit that we were already buying to try to help their teeth since higher quality food often fixes it) so we can at least feed them something they’re more likely to eat that may also help.
