if you didn’t feel negative emotions uhm. i dunno. positive emotions would probably dull to such a point they don’t really matter much either. but i guess it’s better than feeling nothing

I want to understand the difference between reward and punishment, pleasure and suffering. But i want to like just be aware of it in the background. Maybe just feel it slightly. Like a quiet background white noise

Dampen was a better choice of word yeah, not completely remove. I already need to put in effort into actively dampening them. Or else id explode and burn. So it would just alleviate effort from me if theyre already dampened

I’m weird and I like the intensity I get to have despite the fact that it’s outside the range of a normal person’s for sure. You could also try to modify your brain such that you’re like this but I don’t know how
