Soooo… from this case, what did you like and what did you dislike the most?

i disliked the part where they were like oop the reason was the disease lol but they mostly walked that back so like ill begrudgingly allow it

honestly that aside mostly positive on this one, was a fun setup, worst i can say is it dragged a bit long after you have already correctly identified the culprit but like pretty solid for a DR trial all things considered

unironically the best explanation i can muster for how they did allat is “despair disease made em superhuman”. also they never even find or discuss one of the murder weapons btw

is this safe for me to click

For both victims or Hiyoko specifically? Cuz I did feel like she was an afterthought.

Yes, it is

I disagree?

Ibuki was not putting up a fight in her condition (handwavey magic bullshit aside because it’s basically irrelevant and would have still pretty much been true even if it were just a normal disease really) and I think it’s fair to assume that Mikan probably used a scalpel or some such on Hiyoko. The absolute hardest part would have been pulling up the body on a rope but realistically given a few hours (which she had) I’m sure that could be accomplished. Hiyoko walks in at some point and gets attacked by surprise is also believable enough, and if we just assume it’s a scalpel or whatever was being used to cut the wallpaper then it’s very believable that Mikan would have such an object on her and she has several hours to dispose of it so them not finding it also makes sense. Not talking about it at all is weird but like I think the most that could really be said is “hell if we know, nobody found anything, we’ll circle back to this” and then they never needed to identify it exactly anyways so like whatever.

wait im a dumbass and completely forgot something I had already discerned earlier LOL she didn’t need to haul up shit, the rope was tied to something that could be raised or lowered at will so the body could easily be raised into place by anybody

that’s not the part i’m objecting to. what’s crazy is in the like. 10? 15? minutes it takes for hajime to go from the titty typhoon to the motel and have some brief conversations with people, mikan destroyed the camera, unfurled the curtain to reveal hiyoko’s body, put it in storage, broke a drumstick, glued the door shut, went back to the hospital, told fuyuhiko ibuki was missing, then went with him to the motel. and probably some other stuff i’m forgetting!

lowkey light work all around provided hiyoko died quickly to to jugular veins being cut which isn’t that unreasonable

Titty typhoon?

didn’t she meet up with fuyuhiko and then they split up to check the island

I had assumed that meant that most or all of that stuff came after she had tagged up with him which makes it way easier to just head there once, do a few things, then leave

for a COMPLETELY UNRELATED CONVERSATION i needed to dive back to snag a message from 2023 in the omega strikers discord (found it via search) and i cannot believe what is like 10 messages up LOL
