jet lag s19

finale was kinda ~okay (I may be misunderstanding this but I think Tom and Adam misplayed at the end there based off the time they completed the challenge? but I dunno. they did say they weren’t going for a tie buttttt) but the rest of the season was pretty good. pretty definitely my favourite jl season

jl season 19

comments on the video say the gingko nuts and the murder hornet killed ben and sam so maybe that wasn’t a misplay then?

Theater had strong reactions to:

  • Gingko nut text
  • Sam wanting to count the LIDAR reader as a tripod (mass groaning)
  • The E7 cliffhanger (we went right from that into E8)
  • Ben’s imitation of Adam’s reaction to getting the Curse into Adam’s reaction to getting the Curse

Theater also clapped whenever a challenge was complete and laughed whenever Adam did basically anything.

do you root for any of the teams anytime?

I bet on underdogs.

in hide and seek I tend to root for whoever’s hiding that ep, most times I root for Ben and Adam otherwise or are neutral (there’s been several seasons where I was not neutral!), but this time I was pretty hard on the side of adam/tom after like ep3

how did you start watching jet lag

I watched a bit of Sam’s other channels then saw circumnavigate and watched that (or maybe s4/3 then watched circumnavigate but I think it was circumnavigate that got me into it)

I don’t entirely remember? I think I got S2’s premiere recommended to me and just enjoyed it enough to keep following it.
Didn’t realize the connection to Sam’s other channels until much later.
