also there are a lot of things i’d be better off not knowing

knowledge is a curse

My take is:
On a macro scale, highly stochastic.
Day-by-day, highly deterministic.

Just learn how to stop the overload first??

i fail to see how that could meaningfully improve my life and am very wary of the numerous ways in which it could ruin it

also spoiling me on every good piece of media ever is already a nonstarter

annihilating any ability to enjoy the rest of my time on earth from orbit? no thanks xdd

Which is a separate question.

If this means I’ll know literally everything that will ever happen and have no ability to change it, and can hold all that information in my mind, absolutely not lol then why don’t I just kill myself now.

If it’s like… I can still make meaningful decisions, then yeah I wanna know fuckin awesome gimme knowing

I love knowing things. I’m strongly knowing-motivated. I’ve never wanted to kill myself because, like, that’s just leaving INFORMATION on the table, why would I kill myself. I don’t care about experiencing things nearly as much as I do getting to know what will happen.

If I don’t have anything new to do and it’s just tediously experiencing out stuff I already found out about, that sucks. Useless grind

So whether or not the rest of my life would suck doesn’t really have any bearing on there no longer being a point to it

If you’re an informed spec, you still don’t know the outcome of the game, there’s still the mystery of whether the wolves will win

realistically that case would never occur though

…have you seen me?

Sometimes its overdetermined

I’d take “informed spec” on life, where I know way more than everybody else but don’t know exactly how it’ll all shake out, but I would not take “skip to postgame” on life, where I already know everything that’ll happen

I’d take it for self-actualization purposes.
Insert 3,000 word paper on why this is the case.
