Anyhow I’m curious; my main issue with alting has been accounting for the knowledge gap between a new player & myself & “I read the wikis/past games” doesn’t really patch that imo, how did you address that?

Nor does “I played mafia irl” and then framing your tells around that. Well I mean there might be other issues but that was one of them. Or so ive heard.

Idk when I alted it people didn’t question me much. Like someone alted recently in a game I was in and said they used to play on a site that was verifiably shutdown.

You can just kind of show up and know how to play mafia and people don’t super question it. I started playing on a Discord server nobody had heard of and showed up on FoL one day and nobody pressed me about it really

Or say you used to play a long time ago on (site) under a different name and remember stuff but don’t want to connect your identity there because you’re embarrassed about your past. Tell the truth about being an alt but lie about the circumstances

Alting lazily on sites you play on probably won’t get you unscrutinized forever, if you really want to be good you gotta go Fext and alt on a site you don’t play on. But a few bits of backstory and convincing details are enough to play games in peace generally

List of POVs and Episodes
E4’s VOD only lasted ~35 minutes, of which the first half was the starting screen. Additionally, checking Twitter, I noticed that E7~E9 did happen, but did not get added to Youtube’s VOD channel. I assume these two were caused by separate tech issues or RL issues. I will have to do with what I have now.
P.S. Apparently E7~E9 was in the VOD channel, but not in the playlist. The only tech issue appears to be E4’s VOD …and maybe E6, considering it lasted no more than three hours, which is half of the normal length of an episode.
E6, dealt with Ann’s corpse, northern expedition (cultists’ gore, “return”), present at meeting before Stiorra left, talked with Silas.
E7, Finley interested in plate for grammophone from Silas, 25 pcs. Bloody knife looted at E6 disappeared. Fortunately, experiments related to the blight were safe. Branwen found vial containing green congealed liquid from northern manor. Vial was inside locked box. ((Vinitrine was also present.)) Mixing with compounds (in particular bone dust) showed that the liquid was very concentrated sleeping tonic. ((OOC DM said it can’t be used without player consent.)) Research costed Branwen 4 pcs.
