idk depends if i’m making it or just looking at it
like i think box pleated stuff looks cool as hell but both the designing and the folding are basically just a massive grind and that’s if you already have the right paper
generally i’d rather make any kind you can do freehand and without measurement or anything cuz like origami’s supposed to be the art form you can do anywhere yknow. these days when i do want to make something it’s usually something with 5+ reasonably big points but not like, a spider, just enough to push me past basic bird/frog base, because i do less of it now and when i do i wanna make it count. so maybe a lizard or something
in terms of what i like looking at though, most of it! i just see a lot a lot of swans and cranes and wish people would see such versatile bases and maybe riff on them more, have fun with it. but that may be harder for some

sometimes i just fold the square into random polygons and rabbit ear fold all of them and see if i can make anything out of it
