mp3 files don’t loop, don’t have any thumbnail to easily distinguish between them, and aren’t as easy to modify when needed

Audiophile voice: who said anything about .mp3s. You need to use .wav or .flac, it sounds so much better!! They’re lossless I tell you! No loss!! And mp3s theyre so compressed… You can barely hear anything

But seriously there are apps for storing mp3s on your phone with album art & repeat the same song features, i use musicolet & its pretty good (possibly not for unspecified other purposes and/or images per specific song but like)

The mp3s on my phone are like the hour long versions of songs lol so they loop that way ig

Yeah the main issue with anything else is that they require that other software and it takes more effort to get like a wav file from a youtube link than an mp4.

And besides, I’d rather use My Files than have to familiarize myself with an entirely new UI and deal with all the extra steps involved there

I use some wierd open source alternative that pulls from the youtube api and has a decent look

The way I tend to get around it is that mp3s on a Mac play through Apple Music, so I can save it in my Apple Music Library and loop it from there.
