my state’s qb server’s serious channel is funny because it’s mostly left wing but the right wingers come out of the woodworks almost exclusively to celebrate their victories

my experience has been “cs classes say it’s a natural number and math classes say it’s not. and you should probably ask your professor at the start of the class if it’s important”

It’s complicated. I don’t know these people very well except for one friend and I have a persistent feeling of being an outsider, I’ve almost gotten into arguments there several times, and I’m worried I’d only achieve making them dislike me. Also the optimal window to mention this passed while I was sick from FAM5 and couldn’t do anything and now they’ve changed all their team names back

for a while in MU debatechat we had a graph of people by how much they believed that {bad people intrinsically Deserved to suffer} (the other axis was sexual/romantic orientation), and people kept showing up, telling me how much they wanted to torture their ideological opponents or whatever, and then getting mad at me for putting them in the “thinks bad people intrinsically Deserve to suffer” part of the graph. Because the people they thought deserved to suffer were really bad
