Today was my last day in the Twin Cities for the holidays (technically I’m still in the Twin Cities but like. The airport part). This morning my parents took me and my sister (and some family friends) to a place that – it marketed itself as an “indoor skydiving” place? But personally I think that is a much less appealing way of putting it than “do you want to FLY like a fucking WIZARD?”
basically they brought us into this wind tunnel thing that blows really hard? and the force of the wind can push you up the tunnel. it was super cool, I had a lot of fun. I had not previously realized that this was a thing (even when I was informed that we were going indoor skydiving I’d been imagining this as being, like, bungee-jumping-like?)
it’s kind of pricey, I definitely wouldn’t have just gone on my own, but I figured I would make people aware that this is a Thing That Exists
(if anyone hears this and decides to go, it’s totally worth paying extra for the"high flight", that was the best part)
